The New Visions for Public Schools Scholarship

The New Visions Scholarship provides up to $5,000 per year — up to $20,000 over four years — toward the cost of the awarded student’s full-time undergraduate study. The scholarship amount is determined by tuition costs and financial need. These competitive scholarships are awarded to select students graduating from one of New Visions’ 80 schools who are on track to attend college in the Fall.

We are no longer accepting applications for the 2021-22 school year as the window for application submissions has closed.

Every year, New Visions for Public Schools provides up to ten scholarships to high achieving students who are engaged in their local and school communities, are demonstrated leaders and are in need of financial support. Since the founding of the program in 2009, New Visions has provided support to over 100 students, the vast majority of whom are first generation college students. Our scholars currently attend or have graduated from highly selective institutions such as Brown University, Cornell University, CUNY City College, and SUNY Stony Brook. Scholarship recipients are awarded up to $5,000 per year - up to $20,000 over four years - to support the costs associated with attending college.
